Greens elected in unopposed races

In some states such unopposed races go onto the ballot, in order to give voters an opportunity to express their preferences, even if all candidates will be elected if they receive at least one vote.  In some of these cases, but not all, there is the possibility of write-in candidates competing against the candidates on the ballot; and sometimes in cases where there are fewer candidates than seats, write-in candidates get elected to the seats that would otherwise have been unfilled because there were not enough candidates on the ballot to fill them.
